Estefan Enterprises & Granda Entertainment Holds The Ultimate Female Impersonator Contest

Estefan Enterprises & Granda Entertainment held a contest to find the ultimate female impersonators to compete for a unique opportunity to co-star in Gloria Estefan's upcoming "Hotel Nacional" music video.

The participating clubs selected a female impersonator to represent them in the contest.  Entries came from clubs across the country including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Puerto Rico.  The female impersonators submitted a videotape performance to “Hotel Nacional”.  Ultimately hundreds of entries were submitted and yesterday afternoon Gloria Estefan selected the winner.

The winner of the “Hotel Nacional Video Contest” is , April Carrion, from Club Krash in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  April will fly to Miami to will appear in the "Hotel Nacional" music video shoot on January 20, 2012.  The video will be directed by famed director and choreographer, Kenny Ortega.
